i cant say i have ever seen strikers defend as well as Pete and Steve last night. the amount of running and closing down they did last night was just terrific.

they were spot on, they have both come here with something to prove, and by eck are they doing it.

also, just to point out i was really impressed with how they defended as a team, quickly closing down, putting their head in for everything and working so hard as a team.

fantastic last night, was back to the old days of batteling barnsley. good old fashioned performance, granted we were probably 2nd best alot of the game but the lads played with massive hearts and pride. was prund to be a red last night. 2 forewards apsolutley outstanding. nardiello and richards will never get a game for either of the front lads. In ferenczi it looks like we have a real gem, credit to davey for gambling on these 2 lads also. U REDDDZZZZZ

It's like a chain letter - Pete&Stan put a full shift in, wingers* see what's happening and get stuck in too, central pair work their nuts off to help, back four think, hey this is good, having this lot in front of us... and suddenly you've got a team all pulling the same way. It's sound. * Remember McIndoe posing on the wing waving and asking for the serfs to deliver him the ball? It rubbed off on Dev at the time - not now.

I mentioned this after the Hull game, and so it came to fruition last night in an away game.

    Good stuff.
