I've been one who's criticised what apparently is a defensive formation in recent games, including today. Just shows what I know. We've had more shots, on and off target, than any other side in the division today. Can't believe we've only got 1 goal from 8 shots on target.
Lack of quality in final 3rd imho. Unless he somehow gets Pedersen in the team and on the end of some of these chances we'll struggle.
Agree. Another post says Perkins has missed a sitter. Obviously not seen it but it's an example of the lack of quality
Decent point but really frustrating that we can't score more than 1 goal from 18 attempts, with 8 on target. From memory that's Reading, Donny, Fowls and today where we've done enough to win but can't score. Frustrating.
It might just be that Danny has said something along the lines of - if you get into the final third, at least make sure you get a shot away. Statistics don't say anything about the quality of these chances. Were half of them long range or were we genuinely more creative? If the latter, hats off to the team and the manager for a formation that allowed us to generate genuine chances.
Good point & good to see us creating chances & playing good football. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Is there any need, really? So many antagonistic cnuts on here lately. We got a point, away. Can't grumble at that. Sounded like we could have won the game. So let's take those positives and be happy for once. Really no need for another night on the BBS where you in particular have to make the forum all about yourself. You'll ignore that advice, mate. And I'll log off. Better things to do than read the same old drivel. I'm happy we've got another good away result and I'll be drinking a few beers in celebration. You Reds.
My point is whitey that mccourt doesnt work for bfc. We passed the ball today and kept it for 10/15 even 20 passes. withhim you cant. People will come out with hes class, no hes one of those who comes on and just does ball tricks at shopping centres.
Think performing seal is harsh but he's right. Without him several of us said we'd improve as a team. Some on here dismissed it saying we wouldn't create chances without him. In the first game since we've gone to an in form Birmingham side, not used McCourt & created lots of chances & according to player deserved more than a point. Long may it continue.
