Why are so many people going on about seeing Foster and Souza in the centre of defence? Didn't they play together last season when Nyatanga was out? Apart from the obvious games (Liverpool/Chelsea), i don't remember them as being particularly accomplished. Souza was as slow as Moore and i thought Foster got bullied by bigger strikers.

Foster still best centre half we had for years, shame he doesn't play there. Still think, along with 99.9% of others that Souza and Foster are best pairing (and just 2 in middle).

    No thanks Chris

I agree. I think we look stronger with Foster at right back. I'd like to see Moore with someone a younger more mobile defender.
I also think a proper midfielder holding the midfield will make a big difference.

But we have to be realistic. We have lost to QPR, one of the favourites for the league where we could have got at least a point, to Coventry where i was disappointed to get nothing cos we battered them and to Birmingham, who are arguably the strongest team in the division. Why are people pushing the panic button?????
