cashed in on ogrady to remove the one dimensional play kept jennings, tangs, cranie, steele, mvoto, etuhu, rnl, lawrence, mccourt added a decent striker and pacey sidekick - maybe rose may fit the bill? got shut of woods, kennedy, all the loanees (bar damage maybe) got us playing decent football and gaining promotion back to championship (if we go down - mid table if stay up)
I'm assuming we're relegated, so... A good manager will see us challenging for the play-off places. Not necessarily getting in them, but giving ourselves a chance. Not that the manager should be sacked if he doesn't, but next season should see us as one of the top ten supported clubs in League 1. Higher if we're doing well. I believe a good manager can equal or better the club's position in the league with the budget he has compared to other clubs in the division. If, for instance, we have the 8th highest budget, I believe a good manager should be able to get his team to finish 8th or higher.
Very hard to say when the leagues are littered with Gravy train players. Good on their day but only when they can be arsed, like managing a load of tetchy teenagers.
