What about in his first season? We finished 8 points above relegation didn't we? Going backwards under davey
Southend took the last relegation spot on 42 points, we finished on 50 Barnsley: 50 Hull: 49 Southend: 42 Luton: 40 Leeds: 36 50-42=8 points off being relegated.
RE: What about in his first season? Last season, despite us acquiring more points than the season before, you repeatedly claimed we'd gone backwards due to the fact that we finished closer, in terms of points, to the relegation places. This season we have finished with a bigger points gap from relegation than last season (and the season before if memory serves) so in your way of thinking we must have made progress?
4 points in football terms as were it not for admin leeds would only have been 4 behind and we got two more points this term. Not that I'm happy like. Still undecided as to whether or not Davey deserves another go next season. I'd only replace him in the close season if a first class manager was to be his replacement as any change will be as greater risk as none.
We have gone backwards from his first season I just said that. First season 8 points off relegation, this season 6 points and down to the last game. Backwards under davey
I don't rate Iain Hume Not from what I've seen. He scored 4 good goals but was poor in many of his games. I expected a lot more.
No they didn't. The manager in charge at the end of that season won them promotion the next. So, in your words, take note PC.
you ignore the 10 pt deduction for non playing reasons at Leeds in playing terms we were 4 points ahead of Leeds-you can't rely on deductions every season !
That's the criteria supertyke used last seasn to show we had gone backwards Can't it be used this year to say we've moved forwards? It's crap like, we should be judged on the number of points. We made a slight improvement last season on the season before, but this year we've gone backwards.
That's B*ll*cks and I hope you know it... ... Leeds would have finished on 46 withouta 10 point deduction.
Do you ever say anything positive about the club ?
