'Giving a manager time' = don't think this guy is up to the job.

A player has 'potential' = at the moment this player is crap.

'Work in progress' = things a complete mess, nothing going well.

'Kids for a quid' = attendance has slumped lets get any bums on seats.

'We had most of the possession' = so much possession we lost because we couldn't shoot at goal.

'The score board needs replacing' = something for the whingers to whinge about when we're doing well.

'Loan player' = a player his home team wants to unload - permanently?

Look at the stats we dominated that game- alright this goes against what your eyes were telling you they scored more goals than us and when we had the ball it was in pretty non effective areas, BUT LOOK AT THE STATS...................................please don't sack me :(

"A business decision" - A vague phrase with indeterminate meaning used in attempt to rationalise the unjustifiable. Waffle.

"Head Coach" - Fewer responsibilities but all of the blame.

    "Yes" - No

    "None" - Some

    "We will" - We won't

"Positive intent" - leaving someone outside our own box when defending a set piece.

"Round pegs in round holes" - Winnall's in midfield today lads.

"I don't like playing Nyatanga at left back" - Nyatanga's playing left back again.
