Yes, he was good last night. Good in the air which is an area we generally struggle with defensively. As you say, his experience gets him in the right positions. Was rightly subbed off when he was getting rinsed by LuaLua but I suspect any of our full backs would have had problems with him.

Yes he was really good I thought. Wins ball he shouldn't get and knows when to get stuck in and when not to. Flicker did well to take him off when he did though as he was tiring against their flying sub. Another real plus for our squad.

I know he's famous for throws into the box. But some of the throw ins from our own half were great. It's a good thing to have to he able to relieve pressure like that with a throw in.
Managed to get the ball from deep in our own half right into theres. On a few occasions

Said to mi dad last night he had a great game, winning a lot of tackles/personal battles and had a good first touch.

Said he had a job to do in this league.

Bit tired towards the end but that's what subs are for.

Agreed, good game for Rory. Could teach their number 6 how to chuck a ball n'all. How many foul throws?

I don't know why we don't shift the advertising hoardings back a couple of yards in front of the east stand to give him a better run up...Stoke always did it.

It's a bit stupid, I see no reason they can't be moved back a couple of yards so he can get a proper run up. He even tried curving his run at points so he had a bit more space.

    Quality laiker

Been there seen it done it etc. Just the sort we need to bring in, assuming we stop up to help us develop and progress.

Cup money should be used for such a player, not for tinkering with regard to 'budgets' etc.
