McIndoe throughout the match put in some sublime crosses.

Devaney, once he had overcome his crapness in the first hour put in some of the most delectably exquisite inswingers I have ever seen at the Well.

It was a delight to see Hayes goal, my favourite type of goal (Linekeresque), a fast low ball curling in from the wing met by an onrushing forward in the 6 yard box.

Keep up this kind of delivery and we can win most games as long as the strikers learn to gamble on the cross coming in and go for it.

Credit to him, never shied away from getting involved even when it wasn't going well for him. Kept showing for the ball, kept wanting the ball and his persistence paid off.
