Does any-one know anything about Dell Network Assistant? My mate is having terrible trouble with it and the sound has failed on DVD's. He doesn't know how to delete it. Can someone help?
By the way, thanks everyone for information about Terry Hirst.

You should be able to remove it via Control Panel => Add Remove Programs => Dell Network Assistant => Change/Remove.

As pointless as this application is, I have no idea why it would affect the DVD sound.

Its probably tried to load new drivers for the DVD player

I had one from Dell giving me a driver update and it turned out the drivers didnt support my hardware! I then remembered the golden rule of hardware drivers - if it aint broke .....

Might need to uninstall and then reinstall the original ones - or try restoring to a pre buggered version
