    anyone know I can get to speak to someone from UK? Or are all their call centres abroad?

    They are all in India.
    If you get really insistent, they tell you they are putting you thru, then put you on hold and cut you off.
    Reasonable PC, but I'd never get another, customer service is non existent

    What's your problem?

    You might have more luck soliciting advice on here than ringing some clowns on a tech support line.
    In fact, if Dell are owt like Acer, I'd guarantee it!

    when I worked in Dublin a few years ago

    Dell had a factory and advice centre in Bray, dont know if it still exists tho :)

    I bought an Acer at the weekend .....

    and having problems installing my printer :(

    Any ideas ?????

    It's a Lexmark 6300, I've tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it but it just won't work. Says there's an error with the printer configuration or something.

    They're doing buy now pay next november, so I'm trying to sort that out but an error keeps coming up. I can't complete the order so they just keep saying you haven't placed an order, I try to explain about the finance but they don't understand. I don't know whether to just re order on line and do a new finance application or what.
