Just heard on national radio the National Leagues North & South voted on wether to continue their seasons. The majority voted to continue and then they've both been cancelled......

    Who organised it? North Korea?

So the club's who voted to continue are now getting together to see what they can do to carry on. Farcical to say the least.

See my earlier posts, the NL board are a laughing stock, literally stupidity doesn’t even come into it.

they promised grants but didn’t get it written down. There is no funding at all bar loans, Without fans in the gate non league is nigh on bankrupt. Sponsors and tv deals are tiny compared to the EFL

The NL board changed the constitution to allow this vote and then threw the north and south under a bus to protect promotion to the EFL

They’ve still got a massive problem as Dover are refusing to play and 6 others voted null and void. Now there’s no relegation what’s the betting all 7 miraculously find the cash to play on

I hope the 19 clubs who want to play are allowed, the NL still need 1 club to replace Macclesfield, they could use this to do that.

They had a vote first to decide whether to allow step 1 and step 2 to decide separately to continue or stop. In that vote they needed 75% to vote in favour and 44 out of 66 voted that way which is only 67% but step 1 clubs get more votes than step 2. Step one get a vote each (21 altogether) the 45 step 2 clubs only get 8 votes between them.
As all step 1 clubs voted in favour of controlling their own destiny it meant that only 5 of the 45 step 2 clubs had to vote in favour of it which they did.

That meant that each step had their own vote in whether to carry on with 13 out of 21 step one clubs voting to continue but only 20 out of 45 step two clubs voting to carry on so that level was stopped.

The majority didn't vote to continue, they voted to stop it. It's the first vote before that which is a bit dictatorshipish but even that one was correct in accordance with their rules of step 1 clubs having more voting power.
