    Not sure if it's been mentioned on here, but just noticed he has been released and is now at West Auckland FC. Scored 3 in 3 for them.

    West Auckland have captured the signing of Dennis Knight from Barnsley.
    The Newcastle based midfielder had been included in the Championship side's first team squad list this season but, having not featured so far, was released from his contract yesterday.

    The 19 year old put pen to paper for West last night and made his debut at Whitley Bay, scoring the second having come on from the bench.

    Having began his career at Newcastle, he earned many plaudits with some superb displays before moving to Barnsley in January 2013 on a free transfer.

    I haven't seen the club announce anything either. They didn't publish the news that Jake Scott had been released until a week later. Guessing they were both released at the same time.

    Aren't they at the equivalent level to Athersley Rec?
