Should we sign him? Davey was making a decision after tonight and the hand he got when he went off told the manager what the fans think. Played well again tonight against opposition he won't be use to playing. He would be a great signing on a two year contract (Y) (Y) (Y)

I thought the fans were cheering for Atkinson coming on.

    played OK

Good footballer though a little lightweight for a CH. Covers well for LB, not slow to get forward nor retreat once his tackle was in. Lacked a bit of aerial ability to me but on the whole I'ld give him a punt for a year unless we have an alternative lined up.

More importantly I think Werling struggled. Too small and not quick enough in the turn to get close enough to the right winger who was left in acres of space for most of the game. OK he wont face wingers & cross field passes of that quality every week in the coming season but still he looked not much better than we have let go. Its early doors yet, he did have a good throw, cross and is fast and comfortabe running with the ball but I just think we need someone more savvy in the position.

The advantage that we potentially have if Werling isn't good enough, is that it can easily be changed so he can fill in on the left wing or be on the bench, whilst Kozluk can slot in at left back, with Hassell/Bruma at right back.

Re: Dennis Souza............lets just say this

against Wigan - Dennis played better than Nyatanga
And I think Nyatanga is a good player
But Dennis played really well against Wigan and if he keeps that standard up then we have a good centre half

You need to be able to run to play right back

    Not Togwells best quality

How do you work that one out? Togwell is the one player that covers every blade of grass for us week in week out. Id say his passing can be a bit dodgy but he can certainly run.

As much as I think he covers area well and breaks down play well, he just always looks like he's running in quick sand, especially with the ball.
Derby and Leicester at home spring to mind.

Wasn't having a go as I think he's a good player for us

He shouldnt be looking to 'dive' into tackles at all. We have just got rid of Austin.
