We are potentially in the ***** mate ...............

........... 7 points above the drop zone, QPR and Norwich to play twice and both of them on the up, squad getting weaker as the season goes on and a complacency that comes from a belief that we are now a good team .......... hope I'm wrong but ...............

    Spine of team

    Muller, Nyatanga, De Silva, Macken.

4 Prem standard players replaced by ????

Need a couple of wins sharpish to prevent nervous looks over shoulder.

Correct, think we will be ok with a couple of .......

......... decent signings but it isn't going to be a comfortable run-in if we adopt the .... 'we have good enough players in the squad already' ....... approach

Outside of the loannees we've got

Muller, Foster, Hassell, Howard, De Souza(a bit), JCR, Devaney.

Then imho we're struggling for Championship level quality. Hope Kozluk gets settled in sooner rather than later.

At the minute we can't keep a clean sheet and if the midfield don't score then we're struggling. Bumpier ride than expected towards the end of the season.

If we get DeSilva and Macken back I may relax a bit.

I think everyone knows we need players, and SD stated he is working on that.
I'm sure SD would love all the targets in asap, but football doesn't work like that. I'm sure Derby will send both players back to us based on the signings made, but just a matter of when. Same with Everyon now they have signed Fernandes.

One would hope so, but as things stand, we're going into a Championship match with a sub standard squad. It'll not take much tomorrowfor the negative vibes to eminate from a half full East Stand onto the pitch, not helpful if Luke Potter or thet Leon chap are trying to impress.
