    So 4-4 and extra time -then Pens if the aggregate scores are level

    Annoying football phrases

    "Away goals count double" - the time I had to explain to my dad who thought in a European tie when Man Utd had lost 4-2 away that a 1-0 win at home would take them through as the away goals counted double!

    what they actually mean is in the event of scores being level the side with the most away goals wins. No idea where double comes from
