I notice it says stay in England and not stay in Barnsley...

Unfortunately as he is here on a loan he can be sold in January and there is nothing we can do about it - a bit like Drinkwater a couple of years ago. Lets just make the most of him whilst we have him

A good interview. I never really expected him to stay at Barnsley all that long, and who can blame him? He's Premiership quality and like he says, he didn't know much about Barnsley when he came here, we were always just a halfway point. I'm just glad we have him for now.

I just hope what ever club he goes to (if he goes) he will be a first time player.

I would hope we can keep him for the season, after that he can go where he likes

I'd like to recover our season and finish mid table with the promise of a better year and sign him. A dream I know but still.
