This is not an uncommon occurrence. Myself and Lady Kaht were at the Newmarket 2009 2,000 Guineas and witnessed what looked like a mediaeval joust between rival groups of Londoners in a square below the main grandstand. These sort look like they can't attend anything without causing a punchup. And they certainly can't hold their ale. Similar forces at work last Sunday, I fear (although not in the Kaht household of course!)

National got an incredible amount of bad press this year - wonder if papers will give this as much coverage

I once went to York and all hell broke loose. 2 lads decided to drop bottles from a balcony and a gang a lads broke into the section to get retribution. It spilled out on to the streets and there were police all over.

    Crazy stuff.

Disgraceful. Anyone who can't behave at a public event should be banned from attending any future events.
