What a stupid decision that is , if they have sacked Nigel Clough to employ McClaren.

I'm not so sure ..did Ok at first at Middlesborough with a lot of money to spend..then began to fail..did pretty well in his first spell at Twente Enschede..but apparently inherited some good players..failed at Wolfsburg and failed in his second spell at Twente..wouldn't want him myself.

His win percentage wasn`t too shabby second time around at Twente, but expectations would have been high after his first spell and we know the saying never go back.

Personally I wouldn`t have him either even if we could afford him, but most fans think only of his failure to qualify England for the Euros when giving their opinion.
