Deserved a point against Wolves

thought we played them off the park in the second half, if thats the benchmark for finishing top six, I fancy us big time.

 

Not Sure We Deserved Anything

The reason we "played them off the park" second half was because they sat back on the lead and invited pressure. If it wasn't for Muller, we would have let in 5 or 6 and they were unlucky to hit the woodwork more than once. Corner into the six yard box for the keeper to dolly catch does not count as a chance.

 

Howard had a chance to slot Macken

Disco werent far away with a curling shot and Stan was onside when the ball was played. couldve been 3-3 then.

 

I thought we did play them off the park in the second half but l thought they had took their foot of the gas a little and were happy with 1-0. We didnt look like we had a goal in us as my Doncaster supporting girlfriend put it "they're like Donny pass around alot but are no real threat to the other teams net" put into birds terms but a fair point, she attended her 2nd away game this season and has only missed a couple of home games and she's not visited the Keepmoat yet so she's slowly converting. And she was impressed that some of the fans got to their feet in the 2nd half to get behind the team!!!

 

We had loads of possession

and created a couple of really good chances, if luck had been on our side, we'd have got something for sure. they've only scored 18 goals all season, and I cant see them improving that, definately beatable at Oakwell.

Wasnt impressed by them and a better team would have sunk us, we seem vulnerable on set pieces. There supporters were raving about Bothroyd on the radio on the way home, l thought Eastwood was poor. Agree, should be 3 points at Oakwell.
