suffering from P.S.E.D(post season emptiness disorder)?? I left work today feeling a bit down coz i had no game to look forward to tomorrow,no home game where you know we just won't get beat, thinking to yourselves Saturday night will be quality if we win 2mor,no away game travelling length and breadth of country with Gerbil eyes, eating junk food at motorway services on route, telling tales of drunken debauchery night while pi55ing ourselves till we are crying, then finding a safe looking boozer in a foreign town to have a few pints before we invariably see Reds draw or lose LOL. Then trip home trying to rememeber which services has KFC or Golden Arches depending on what we fancy! stopping again closer to home for a pi55 and seeing other teams supporters in services wondering who they have been playing, while we buy a banana milk shake, wheat crunchies and a choccy bar! Oh well only 3 months till it starts all over again Plus i can get up to Newcastle for a few weekends now in summer and mis spend my youth.
I almost had a panic attack the other day thinking about what I'm going to do on Saturday afternoons from now on. Suppose that means I'll get time to do some stuff like, shopping! God forbid!
somebody's calling round this weekend and said is Saturday afternoon ok, can't do saturday, I said, got footb......er okay then Missing it already and we've still got 2 matches left!!!
rods are out saturday, fishing season starts in earnest for me owts better than DIY or Meadowhell</p>
Aye, short term gap filler. I'd rather listen/watch the footy than go shopping. Folk allus said I was weird
Cricket, World Cup ... beer gardens, fannying about in your own garden, "bird-watching", bar-b-q's, golf, holibobs, looking over walls into rivers / streams. all good but yeh, your right, bring on t'new season!
