hopefully the information in this email will answer some of the questions your travelling fans will have when travelling over in force tomorrow (just remember it’s our party too... lol ).

We have tremendous facilities for away fans at the DW Stadium, below is a link to just some of them to include on your website/newsletter to help travelling Barnsley fans that are making the journey up tomorrow. If we can help in any other way, please be sure to get in touch.

We have an Away Supporters Bar situated at the back of the North Stand similar to the area that we met in at your ground (though without the real ale...), this will be open from 10.00am and is the end the Barnsley fans will be in. The Bar serves drinks and a selection of snacks and show the early kick off if there is one on, it would be great to see a few of your fans in there for some pre-match banter.


All the fans are travelling by coach will be dropped off at the North end stand (on Car Park 1, about a 3 minute walk to the stadium) and so is just a short walk to the away supporters bar, directions will be given by the stewards. For those travelling by car, we have a secure car park behind the ground and for those travelling by train, the DW Stadium is about a 15 minute walk (turn left out of the station) or a 5 minutes taxi ride.

There are also other restaurants and a large pub near the Stadium that allow away fans to eat and drink, notably Frankie and Bennies, Red Robin and Pizza Hut.
