Well what can i say?? Had a decent game against Washday, and i mean only decent! He can run with a ball and that is it!! When it comes to doing something useful with the ball he just crumbles! He's hopless. Never a championship player! We need a winger to replace him as he's not good enough!
I thought he was better than decent against Wednesday But he was back to his usual self today. He's not consistent enough and getting in a decent left sided midfield player should be the priority.
Poor old Davaney always getting stick evan when strikers don't score he still gets blamed. Best pro at the club I'd never let him go !
ran the game against Wendy, still think yer cant fault him for his work rate even if his crossing lacks a little bit. Agreed about not letting him go
Get Tossed Off Devaney may be inconsistent, but when he's on his game he's as good as anything we've had for years. And unlike Campbell Ryce he's very direct. He's pacey, decent crosser and can beat men with ease at times. Have you never thought it may have something to do with Daveys tactics? Tuesday night, pushed both wingers very wide and forward, today both were told to stay deep. Certainly not Devaney's strength.
Definitely keep him. He has his bad moments but he is a decent player. As good as we can attract. We need to be adding to what we have got not letting go our first teamers.
No point in putting crosses in is there? Disco got to the by line in the second half, looked up and there wasn't even a forward in the area. He finished up playing the ball off the defender for a corner kick. The forwards spend far too much time "helping out" in the midfield.
he's right though against donny he had the beating of his man every time but wasted every cross/shot that he had. Today he did exactly the same.
all i can do is praise devaney yes his final product wasnt the best... but his he gave his sweat blood and tears today, Offspring whats ya problem with devaney
Devaney'e defensive play is magnificent Yes I know he's a winger, but he's obviously called upon to track back whenever required, he works his socks off down the flank. I think that may have something to do with the quality of his crossing at times, as he's usually been on a marathon run before crossing the ball. There are many times when he's ready to cross and there's no-one in the box.
RE:Not as **** as your post, thankfully nt Its ok then, lets carry on playing a player that runs straight into the opposition all the time and loses the ball. He isnt good enough simple as. You must like Davey.
