9 times out of 10 he plays it's like starting with 10 men. OK he scored today but that's the sum total of his contribution in all the games since Wolves at home. Note that Norwich left a winger a class above Devaney on the bench for most of the game.

More of an impact player off the bench than a team player in my opinion; a role he fulfilled well earlier in the season.

A tackle that should have been made by our right back

If Hassell had been at right back he would have made that tackle , my point before that moving Hassell to left left back to accomadate Bruma was a wrong move especially as Kosluk was fit enougf to be on the bench.

    Problem is.....

apart from playing on the left (not his natural position) he also had to play left back, god knows what the hell Bobby hassell was doing yesterday. Bobby had a decent game at centre half, but sadly he was supposed to be left back..... I lost count the number of times there right winger was left unmarked and the people around me were blaming devaney, yet he was already marking his man whilst Hassell was often in between souza and foster!

I would also say Van Homeot didn't play any better on the right, when he broke clear he still cut inside before he crossed the ball.

all in all it was a shocker:

Muller - has looked out of sorts in the last few games. He hasn't commanded his area i.e. puched/claimed crosses

Fullbacks - Both looked un comfortable. Bobby drifted out of position far to often! It was very obvious that we need a left sided fullback. An on the right neither hassell/van homeot can match fosters performances at right fullback, he made that position his own.

Centre halves - Both good individually but don't team up aswell as Nyatanga/souza.

midfield - Howard's lost the plot and hasn't played well since De Silva left. McCann was pretty non existent. Leon looked like a good prospect when he came on, likes to get forward. The only problem I see is that Leon and Howard may be to similar.

Wingers - Devaney worked hard, but found himself defending far to often as hassell drifted out of position. JCR no complains.

Fowards - Mostto didn't get involved and KO was much improved. I would have liked to have seen Coulson get a start especially after last two sub appearances.

Manager/Tactics: I thought first half we were poor and lucky to take the lead. Saying that Norwich were also very poor. Second half Norwich came at us, and we were all over the place. We didn't keep possession, players were out of position and players didn't support one another in attack or defence. When Norwich broke they came forward quickly and in numbers.
In the second half the pressure was ever growing and the equalizing goal was always coming. That is unless SD made a changes. For me at half time he should have made the fullbacks switch sides and then 5-10mins before the equalizer, I would have brought Togwell on for McCann and Ferenczi for Odejayi. Then with 20mins to go, give coulson his chance.

Norwich left a excellent left winger on the bench simply because roeder does not like to play two wingers away from home prefers to play three holding midfileders allowing the one winger to have a role with more freedom and croft has been putting in better preformances of the two of late, maybe this tactic is something we should try

So who is going to give Davey the crystal ball that tells him that the opposition are going to score in ten minutes so that he can make the substitution before it happens!

no need for a crystal ball...... 2nd half we were being slaughtered!

wasn't a question of would they score...... playing like we were. Allowing them the chances we did a goal was inevitable...

However, had SD made changes earlier it may have given us a lift.
