    Dunno if he would drop straight back in to form if he hasn’t been playing much. Not sure we would pay him what he’d be asking for. Sounds like a Huddersfield Town signing.

    Wouldn’t be completely against it myself but not if there’s a substantial fee involved. Don’t think he’d come anyway.

    Someone with his pace would be ideal in the high press, break quickly style that Connor wants.

    Can't see it happening though.

    I'd love for us to sign a striker that we can eventually build a team around. Someone a bit younger who we can tie down to a 3 year deal or so, rather than another 12 month contract or loan. Of the players we've been linked with, I still think Tovide would be ideal.

    1. He had a somewhat inflated opinion of his own position in the rankings if he thought for a moment it would be anything different to how it turned out.

    2. What were West Brom thinking when they signed him. It was pretty obvious he wouldn't be a first team starter from the off.

    It was a surreal one for sure. I'm surprised they didn't go for McAtee instead as he's younger.
