What is your all time most devastating HOME game whilst following the reds (the list would be endless if we included away). the one where the result as been so bad youve gone home, not enjoyed saturday night, kicked the cat and only muttered two forced words to the missus. Il start with the 3-3 draw at home to ipswich. the one we threw away in the last 6 mins

Middlesbrough. One minute in playoffs and then the next gone! The announcer had already given the playoff schedule out as well. He never did the job again though!

I remember watching us lose to Wolves at home a couple of years before we went up

They wer two up in the first ten minutes. Appauling. Think they got three in the end. Shocking. People walking out saying 'I'm never going back' :D

There is nothing worse in football than going a goal up and then watching the away team score twice. Watching the away end go mental is just impossible to endure.

I would agree with you about Liverpool.... but the Ipswich3-3 was the most numb after a match I've been.

The most angry was Norwich at home when we went down when I berrated the spineless Barstewards that played that day.

I agree about both those games.

Ever since the Ipswich game I have a little superstition that I wont count on 3 points until we are 4 up with 10 mins to go. 3 is only good enough to guarantee? a point.

I agree, Ipswich at home 3-3

We could have lost it as well. Full time whistle went, people just sat in their seats in disbelief

Going back a few years, maybe 1982, we played Cambridge at home, they hadnt won for 20 odd games, we were 2-0 up at half time, lost 3-2, big skinny Georg Riley scored at least one. I was 14 or so at the time, up until then it had mostly been good experiences with two promotions in three years. Couldnt believe it at the time, know better now!

Barnsley 0 Norwich City 3 : Relegation in April 2002

It was all set at Oakwell for a barnstorming passionate performance - but instead we capitulated and went down with a whimper, a gutless display, losing 3-0.

Been going to Oakwell for 28 years and I would say 50% of games have left me with that sort of feeling.

When I was living with my (now) ex, she used to check on here and on Sky Sports to see how we'd done so she knew what mood I'd be in when I got home.

    That was an awful game...

I remember rumours going around the ground about the other match (I think it was Ipswich and Brighton) Was it Carl Tiler who scored our goal?
I just remember that my mate's usually calm Dad was fuming and screaming at the stewards about the announcer.

Going 1-0 up to see that chalked off by a goal that was given when Kay cleared the ball off the line. Then clawing it back to 2-2.......going 3-2 ahead only to see us throw it away in the last minute. And that Bircham......ooo never liked QPR since!
