Does anybody on here work for them? Does anyone on here have any experience of them making deliveries?

My personal opinion at the moment is rather low due to my recent experience but wondered what others thought.

They set off from sheffield at 11am this morning to deliver me something. I'll let you know when they get here.

The problem with DHL is that they have taken over so many other couriers, that there are so many different DHL types in all areas of the country. There are at least 4 different DHL couriers that deliver to the town centre alone. One delivering large items like pallets, one delivering urgent stuff early morning, another couple that deliver stuff willy-nilly.

Looks like mine isn't a unique experience

They tried to deliver a package last Friday but I was at work. I sent them a fax from work on Monday, quoting just about everything I could see on the card that might be relevant. I asked them to redeliver to my parents house today, preferably in the morning & gave them directions on how to find their house as it isn't visible from the street.

They rang me at work yesterday afternoon saying that I'd not given them a 10 digit reference number that they needed to trace my package. I didn't have the card with me yesterday so I told them I'd ring them back when I got home. Sure enough, there was no 10 digit number. I rang them back & told them this. It turns out that the delivery driver, who they claimed "must be an agency driver because we're so short staffed" had ballsed up filling in the form. Anyway, they managed to find my package & it was supposedly scheduled for delivery to my parents today.

    Guess what? No delivery.

    Had a delivery yesterday.

No problems, and their web site is kept up-to-date for tracking the parcel.
