    Yes I was at the game and it was obvious to see Richards, and then Wright, up front on their own with five midfielders behind them. No diamonds in sight.

    I felt sorry for both strikers

    <address>when wright made his great run he had 2 defenders on him, if someone else had joined him he would have had more space and a chance to pass. same with richards, a few times he shot and it rebounded but hayes was on the halfway line</address>

    Yeah I agree it certainly has its down sides going forward, but I think we would have been over-run in midfield with two up front.

    If we are trying 5 in midfield (for away games etc) then i'd like to see kell or the other broken legged partner in crime (forgot his name) as the extra midfielder.</p>
