It's pointless And the grown men who join the kids are just plain retarded. Break the law and you should be banned for life.
I just don't get why people do it or how others can defend them. At the end of the day, it achieves nothing, but pisses off everyone else who wants to clap the players. It's selfish and juvenile.
RE: It's pointless You want to reward people for their behaviour by taking away their privilage of watching that *****
what gets me is.. theres loads of bobbys on the pitch, stood next to people who are infringing the rules (a la breaking the law). why don't they just arrest some and get a point across?
There was a good 20 or 30 police officers stood in the corner near the tunnel just talking and ignoring the people on the pitch. It was a giant **** up in crowd control from somebody
We'll be discussing this very same subject in 12 months time When it happens again. CCTV of everyone on pitch should be released, name and shame them.
the football league ought to give the club a hefty fine for it To be honest. It's the only way to get them to be SERIOUSLY interested in stopping it
EXACTLY!!! Over hundred Wolves fans run on the pitch and the security stand around and wait for them to decide themselves to go back in the stands.
Those "fans" won't care how much the club are fined But if their criminal records were extended and had to report to Barnsley Police Station at 3pm every Saturday for 5 years they may think again about running on the pitch.
RE: We'll be discussing this very same subject in 12 months time Like our club would release pictures of everyone who went on the pitch and have Barnsley Chronicle say post them all to be tracked down for public order offences.
the 'fans' wont care but the club would make sure it bothered to put some measures in place next season instead of ignoring the issue like they always do
