    Morning Barnsley folk.

Look after our two lads for us will you.

A little bit of background on them if it helps you any.

Carl Dickson became a bit of a hero for us in the promotion year for us, a true 110% footballer, very strong will give everything for you. Him and Andy Wilkindon were played a lot of games in that year together. IMO I thought Carl would have pushed on and become a 1st team regular, but as it happened it was the other way round with Andy Wilkinson fighting with German International Robert Huth for a right back place.
I would love to think he still has a chance in our team but he needs to have a cracking loan period with you guys to give him the confidence back and the experience of first team football again. All in all a great loan for you but hopefully a stepping stone for him to impress to our gaffer he is good enough for Stoke.

Ryan Shotton, sorry I haven't seen a great deal of this lad however has many people raving about how good he is and with that bit more first team experience could make an excellent player.

Like I said at the beginning, look after them and I sure they will look after you. Two good solid players I'm sure you will enjoy wearing a Barnsley shirt.

Best of luck for the season

    K

If he's owt like Wilkinson I'm sure he'll go down well with us, bit of a blood and thunder never goes amiss!

    RE: Cheers

I think he's a bit bigger and harder than Wilkinson. (Best mates by the way) I read an interview with the pair of them a few days ago, but I can't remember where I read it!! I'll have a look for you if I remember where I saw it and post it on here for you.

He will give you a lot of blood and thunder, but with it a sensible defending. He's a good honest defender who will become a fans favourite.

Sounds encouraging. I am sure the fans will take to him if he is a 100% player.

Sound like just what we need, a proper left footed left back!
