And apart from a minute on the news, it won't be seen on terrestrial television tonight. It'll be met with total indifference in my house. But is it right that the premiership is won on a Monday night and shown only on a pay per view channel?
The sad thing is there will be more people celebrating this in Barnsley than people who celebrate any of Barnsley's achievements. Suppose United have always done things the right way though, the plastic City fans won't be bothered, they'll have already found a different bandwagon to jump on.
Yep - very true. Not sure what can be done about it - t'was ever thus. Only in my day it was Liverpool that every one had "supported all my life"
We never used to watch teams win the league in my day - you found out on the vidi printer! (LIVERPOOL CHAMPIONS!!!) Lol
I heard a whisper on here, but like you I couldn't care less because years of Sky killing the game have extinguished my passion for football outside of what matters to Barnsley FC.
After the deep joy of seeing them lose it in extra extra fergie time last season, it's almost as much fun thinking that this seasons moment of glory will go largely unnoticed
And most of then won't give a toss that they live in a town that has a championship club who have a massive game on Saturday. Plastic cretins.
