I drove and dropped a couple of lads off.

The park and ride is just off J19 of the 62, from the signs it was a tenner to park. Curfew was at 11, I got back to the spot I was picking 'em up at about 11:45 and they'd walked back from Heaton Park. Traffic was piling out of the car parks so obviously got there before I did so must've been decent.

Apparently, you're better off driving. Never getting a pint.

There's loads of shuttle buses back and forth between heaton park and bowlee park ride - be prepared for a long walk though as the park is huge.

Warning for those on buses -pray you get there early as the coach park isn't big enough and you'll not know where your coach will be at the end of the night.

Having said that - wish I was going again. Fantastic day on friday.

I kind of wish I did rather than booking Bob's Taxis to pick 4 of us up from the pick up/drop off area.

To cut a long story short the driver was incapable of finding the pick up/drop off again or using his sat nav when we game him the address on Middleton road we eventually walked down to at his request.

He eventually picked us up at 1.45 am. We were so pissed off!

Went by minibus, got dropped off in minibus at The Wilton pub on
Middleton side of roundabout next to sainsburys. Stayed in there between 2pm - 7:30. Saw most of Beady Eye. Nice to hear a few Oasis songs instead of the ***** Beady Eye knock out. Roses were fantastic. 15 mins of Fools Gold Priceless. Fireworks good too! 1hr to walk out of park. Glad I took wellies.
