    From what I saw everyone did who entered the stadium. Don't know why some grounds do and others don't. I've no objections with it but the little pat down they do is piss pointless because you'd be able to hide out n get away with it

    Well that's it then, they should stop doing it if you're not happy. Why should the authorities have any security measures if you're not happy.
    You do realise a player was attacked on Friday night, don't you?. What if he had a knife?

    They didnt h search me - I walked up to them ready and they just waved me through - must have decided I looked less likely to cause trouble than the young uns. From what I saw them that were searched it wasnt a serious search though
    Not compared to the though going over I had at Millwall last year- even had to empty pockets for them there

    It's trust both ways though isn't it.

    Like I said the other day I listen to stan collymore and even he says its wrong.
    I would never do it but been treated like that might make people rebel.

    Well hes done things wrong but hes knowledgeable and he says his mind.
    hes blocked you as he? well you had that coming with that comment. He admits hes done things wrong but he doesn't need someone taking the p**s.

    Anyway if you listened to him Merlin and from reading this forum you would actually agree with a lot of his views.

    Think about it for a second Phil. Searches are annoying and sometimes make you feel like you're being treated like a criminal when you've done nothing wrong but without them the ones who ARE going to cause problems would be able to do so unchecked.

    Go to an airport and even though both you and me have never been in trouble with the law, we would both have to go through an airport scanner and be checked to make sure we weren't carrying anything we shouldn't be. It is slightly annoying and a bit inconvenient but wouldn't you prefer to do that rather than risk the bloke behind you taking on a few knives to hold the plane up?

    I'e been to america SuperTyke. i understand how it is.

    maybe its just me who get annoyed by it.

    They don't even check the two areas that people could hide things in.
