It was 07:40 on BBC Breakfast on a feature about attendances at grass roots football rather than the glory hunters that follow the prem. Good bit of promo for the club - with a wider audience than the Chron Young Nudger!

Ian MacMillan and his weak efforts of poetry are embarrassing.

    Richards Kells odes are better

    How come....

I've got more stars than you, but you've done more posts than me.

I also don't know who Richard Kell is, but then again I'm not into poetry or pottery or owt like that.

Nessie's 'odours' are better than McMillan's poetry!

    Yes I did.

My wife still thinks he's a bit of a nutcase.

Yes, I remember that well .......

.... it was because he was supposed to be getting picked up early for an away match, in the days before mobile phones (and he didn't have a phone in the house) so he went round to Steve Thornton's (Thoz) house in the middle of the night and pinned a note on his FRONT door saying ....

"NOT GOING TODAY MATE, CANT GET OFF THE SHITTER, IT'S PISSING OUT OF MY ARSE"

He was therefore rewarded with a mention/cartoon in the fanzine, quality!

    The more I read

His articles in the Yorkshire Post and Barnsley Chronicle , the more I like him . Then again , Kev likes him too , so that'll destroy any potential kudos for poor , old Ian !:pff
