I thought that everyone was arguing about if it was a corner or not. Could not believe it when a panalty was awareded. In the first half I thought both sides were very poor and was not looking forward to us playing them again in a league lower. But how wrong can you be - what a second half. What a lot of heart JCR has. After all we have suffered at the hands of Donny doesnt it feel so good!. It is only one game and there is a long way to go but at least it gives us some hope. Just think what it would have been like with a two week break, having lost 1-0 to Donny again! To beat it all Wednesday got thumped. What a good day?

I thought it a definite penalty

Their guy was just about to jump to head the ball when Kozzi gave him a big push in the back and knocked him into the net. Nailed on pen for me.

    Definite penalty

Kozluk pushed the lad in the back as he was about to jump for the ball. Very similar to the one he conceded against PNE at home last season.

crap refereeing. if it was a penalty it HAD to be a red card

there was no keeper anywhere near the ball and he was about to head into an empty net.

I think Souza's presence saved him.

I'll wait and see the replay but I thought there was a chance of Souza winning the header, which made the push even more idiotic. It was a stupid, stupid thing to do. I was very surprised not to see a yellow but I'd have been very angry with a red.

    absolutely not

It was a push in the box. That is not a red card. Please don't go round the houses a million times trying to convince anyone otherwise 'cos it won't wash. A push when going up for a header never has been and never will be a red card. Accept it. Go on, I dare you.

    has it not? ok then

Pushing somebody who is about to head into an empty net is a red card.

    No its not

Its a penalty. And that's what he gave.

Yellow card maybe, but never a red.

I thought it was called right by the ref - no arguments from me.

Blatant push, think it was by Souza

Not sure if the cross would have been too high for the lad if he had not been pushed but if not it would have been a simple nod in. The guy he pushed hit the back of the net such was the force of the push. No complaints at all.
