    It's not what he had to say, it's what he showed you. The extremely tough discipline the children had to endure in order to gain perfection. Some were beaten and the coach never smiled or offered praise once.

    Heard it on Radio 5 this morning, saw report this evening.

    The strange thing was how the kids just seemed to accept this was normal.

    I've long thought that they shouldn't have gymnastics in olympics or at least have a lower age limit.
