I would say he did So let's just say if he asked for parity with another player and the club refused can you really blame him for wanting to leave? The club say he refused to talk about a new deal but if Howard said he would only discuss a deal giving him parity and the club refused, surely the club is more to blame for the situation than Howard?
you've just asked a question and answered it yourself!!!! how can the club be at fault for not offering a player something he hasn't even asked for??? (dunno) (dunno)
it was a for instance everyone is convinced that he's a greedy Barsteward and he want's this and he won't have that how do we know the club have not shat on him? we don't
BUT HE NEVER GAVE THEM CHANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FFS, WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP ON THINKING THE CLUB WEREN'T PREPARED TO OFFER HIM WHAT HE WANTED. IF WE WERE GONNA BREAK THE BANK FOR PHILLIPS TO COME WHATS TO SAY THEY WEREN'T GONNA BREAK THE BANK FOR HOWARD WHEN HE TURNED US DOWN, HE JUST NEVER GAVE THEM CHANCE. sorry for shouting but some people just won't have it sometimes.
Yep, the last six words clearly read " people just won't have it sometimes"</p> Basically it's not entirely the clubs fault, as some people on here are suggesting and harping on abart lack of ambition. </p>
