Did Brian Howard deserve to be the highest paid player at the club?

I would say he did

So let's just say if he asked for parity with another player and the club refused can you really blame him for wanting to leave?

The club say he refused to talk about a new deal but if Howard said he would only discuss a deal giving him parity and the club refused, surely the club is more to blame for the situation than Howard?
