I really hope that he didn`t, because that is a sure fire way to get the crowd on your side , NOT.

Mr Hill , I know you read these forums, sort out the team, YOUR team, get them playing the passing football you promised, get them to score some goals, keep clean sheets and a win or two, Then if after all that, you feel the fans are not being fair, then you can say so, but until then I suggest you get on with your job and prove us wrong.

I agree about getting on with his job because it looked like Hill had given up with 20 minutes to go.

"too much negativity in the stands"

I can't read that any other way

I'm sick of him already. I'm starting to feel nostalgic for Davey. Buy not KO.

    I know I had.

Gutless wonders I think is a fair description of our team at the moment.

He didn't say it was the fans fault. He did say the pressure was due to the negativity in the stands and said something about not liking the flavor of the fans reaction.

I am still in disbelief after listening to his post match interview! I thought the fans could have been a lot more negative at oakwell tonight after that dross. Hill is making his job harder by pushing the fans away!

He said on Radio Sheffield that he understands the fans' frustration in that we pay good money and that we have a right to voice our opinion BUT that he felt that it was a bit unfair to criticise to the current level. He also said that Middlesbrough were a better football team and deserved their win (no arguments from me there), and that he was proud of the effort of the BFC players tonight ....

    You missed off "talentless".

Apologies for Redstar's appalling language tonight btw.

If he was proud of tonight's effort than we are lost, basically if that's the best we are going to get then we are going down.

The sight of you and Kev in your leotards.........!;-)

But I have never felt so hurt by the displays I am seeing. If we were losing, but giving 100% I wouldn't care. I wouldn't be over the moon, but I could see the players were trying. This lot don't even appear to be doing that.

Remember "Battling Barnsley"? We used to criticise people for patronising us by calling us that.

I wish I could call us that now. "Bottling Barnsley" seems to be more apt.

The pressure is due to the bluff and bluster he's come out with and the last three awful performances.

    He didn't say it outright

But he certainly implied it. And he knew exactly what he was doing when he did it.

We're crap. Extremely crap. It's pretty much Keith Hill's fault that we're crap, although I do accept he's under severe financial limitations and he wasn't left with much of a squad when he took over. Ultimately though it's his responsibility. However, it doesn't seem that he's too keen on shouldering that responsibility and he's trying to shift some of it over to the fans.
