We weren't poor ! - Plymouth are the best side I've seen this season home or away.

They did their homework and stopped Devaney and McIndoe playing yet we still scored 2, had 2 disallowed (1 which I thought wasn't) and hit the post. Yes they could have also won it and yes it wasn't as pretty as normal but I thought last night was an excellent hard earnt point.

Bring on Sunderland!

I still can't work it out

The people I spoke to who made it yesterday all said we did well, and deserved a point, even Ian Holloway said we deserved a point.

Yet the Oakwell Am commentators on Barnsley World said in the half time summary that the first half performance was the first time we'd looked like relegation fodder. Then you read on here, you'd think we'd lost 5-0.

Opinions eh?

After last nights games I commented that we were second to allot of the balls, Standing off players allowing them to run at us, Devaney didn't look his usual self (abit sluggish) and generally slow on the break.
On the other side, said Togwell started to get stuck in towards the end, Richards holding up and 1st touch allot better and Hassell continuing to win allot at the back.

Plymouth are a good team, and we won't see many other teams come and try and attack us at Oakwell like they did.

Plymouth a good side and on a good run.

Thought we did well to earn a point. Relegation fodder...bulls**t!

Hi a Plymouth supporter here who was at last nights game. Just had a troll through the boards and cannot believe how negative some of the comments are about your team. Firstly I have to say I thought we created enough chances to win it but you always looked dangerous going forward and I guess a draw was fair enough at the end of the day.
What I did want to say was that was as good a championship game as i have seen in two seasons. Both sides going for the win, end to end etc. How anybody can be moaning after that game is beyond me.
What can i say about Anthony Kay's goal - absolutely fantastic although both our goals were excellent as well.
Good luck for the rest of the season and from what I have seen I think we will both do ok.
Also Barnsley fish and chips- top drawer.

Thanks mate, I thought you were top drawer last night and as for us we have played far far better than that and lost. Credit to your fans for making that trip on a Tuesday night.[IMG]

You have a good side there and an even better manager. What QPR were thinking God only knows. In Hayles and Ebanks-Blake you have 2 of the most dangerous strikers in this league.

Thank you for your comments

I , too , enjoyed the game and , in my humble opinion , Plymouth are the best team we have played this season . However , I do have one question for you . What time did you get home ???

I think you'll find...

Most of the folk moaning were listening to the game on the internet. Just a guess.

Wednesday won at Plymouth. Did they drug them at half time or what?

I got home at 3.45am.
It's not so bad when you have seen a good game but a real drag if you get beat.

I remember going to Plymouth , just before Christmas 1979

We lost the match 2-1 to a goal in the last minute . That journey home seemed to last days !!
