Yes - I can McCourt was a passenger AGAIN - nowhere near man of match yet sponsors just wanted to meet him- ridiculous decision

Hmm, each to their own. I thought he looked like the only player out of 22 on the field who could make something happen.

Even if folk thought he was crap though, which they're well entitled to do, does it warrant booing?

'Passenger AGAIN', what a strange statement. I've already admitted it wasn't his game (still the most talented player on the pitch and most likely to create something) but no not his best game.
What were the other games when he's been a passenger?

Definitely heard a few boos from where I was sat. I think it was straight after McCourt lost possession and gave them a good chance to attack.

He didn't deserve the man of the match, but the decision didn't need booing either.

Yeah, they're the same pathetic morons who booed Chopra when he scored against Donny. He didn't have his best game but he set up one on a plate for O'Grady which he missed and should have had a penalty after that mazy run took him past five players. He was our only real threat which is probably why they gave him man of the match. Booing your own player for that is beyond belief.

McCourt didn't have a great game but a passenger, i don't think so. The term passenger should be used for the likes of Mellis (who we didn't miss today). McCourt is certainly exciting when on the ball and has a vision for a pass that many of our players sadly don't have.

Yep. He wasn't man of the match, or anywhere near.

Booing is not right, although I do not think anyone booed in the East Stand.

MOTM ought to have some semblance of objectivity about it though.

And this Paddy worship could do with more substance to corroborate it.

He was poor for the last half hour but I suppose you have to accept that's what you get with a player like him, he probably was the man of the match in fairness

Booing him was barmy. I guess some took exception to the sponsors giving it him despite half the team having a better game, just so they can bend him over the players lounge bar again.

Booing a player for winning the MoM award regardless of whether he deserved it or not is absolutely terrible. We had a lad sat behind us who booed so it definitely happened.

He did at least two mazy runs and made some excellent passes. I thought he had a great game, along with Perkins in the middle

Nobody boo'd McCourt. He was supported for his playing. They were booing the award of MOM. He made a couple of good runs and 2 decent passes. He was anonymous the rest of the game and nowhere near MOM. Maybe around 7 or 8.
