We score early then its all Southampton who go in front and could have a few more. We then score against the run of play and again its all Southampton who rub our noses in it. Davey says we lost because of bad decisions and not because we were up against a far better team as suggested by the interviewer. I hope that Cryne and the Gords my Shepherd are suitably miffed by Daveys take on todays proceedings. Hopefully enough to get this clown out of our beloved footy club and to take a job as a Paul Hart impersonator. .
Nah yer alreight you must have been taking mind altering drugs when you offered the bet

The game you listerned to sounds like the one I watched In all fairness you couldnt fault our players for effort, and the ref was very poor but Southampton were completely different class to us. It could have been double figures if they had taken there chances
RE: We havent had the bet yet! I thought we had bet on today, but I could be wrong. I was in bed from 4pm yesterday until 11am today with the worst cae of 'man flu' i've ever had !!!!
Despite all that It sounded like Southampton were very wasteful in front of goal (how often have we said that about the super reds) and we got them back with a sucker punch equaliser (how often has that happened to the super reds). To be honest, I fully expeced Southampton to pay for those missed chances. Instead of the Southampton fans tropping off home & wondering how they didn't win, the referee decides to award them a controvertial penalty and then send off one of our players. How often have the officials helped us out in that way? I can understand Mr Davey being upset about what happened this afternoon, but I cannot accept his assessment of the game. In his radio interview, he simply refused to acknowledge that the opposition were better than we were - despite Paul Walker pointing it out to him. Stephen
Really ?????? **** me I must have been bad !!! show me !!! I can't believe I'd have been thick enough to take that one !!!
Hold on I seem to remember that ohhhh bugger !!!!

RE: Dont forget your fiver on Tuesday, you too BFC_Dave. La Dent
Your optimism deserves a medal!
It also will see you in the Asylum
Give it up - you know it makes sense !

RE: Despite all that Ive just seen the penalty incidents on tv and they were harsh with both looking more like ball to hand but you cant blame that rather than the gulf in class on the result. My mate from Worthing was there and concurred with the commentary that we were on the receiving end for the main and had we got a draw would have been very lucky.
RE: Despite all that I have to say that that's how it sounded to me aswell. Can't remember Mattis being mentioned until he was subbed. The main comments on Devaney was that he wasn't getting close enough to Bale, therefore putting Hassel under pressure, no mention of him as an attacking force. Howard and Togwell got a few mentions but not much. The only words of encouragement were that Ferenzci worked hard despite little or no service.
