Friend of mine, drove up yesterday lunchtime from Cannock to fix my computer. He even brought beers. He stayed the night & carried on working on it, and when I went to work he was still there, sorting stuff out ... and when I got in, he was still there. When he finally sorted it all out - PC fixed, all applications installed, Freeview on PC, with recording facility etc etc, he said his goodbyes ... reached in his car & gave me a crate of beer!!! Leftovers from his 40th Party. What an absolute legend!! Any ideas how I can thank him? (Serious answers nowt smutty!). Something I can get sent to his house?
RE: You said he stayed the night Nooooooooooooooooooooo! Wrong, all wrong! He's the husband of one of my best friends. He had to make do with the single bed in the Dora the Explorer bedroom. I think i still owe him - something like wines, malt whisky, or maybe I 'll pay for him & his Mrs to go & het pampered somewhere.
