we are very weak from crosses and corners. have been for quite a few seasons now. Wiseman should really have equalised. Oh well, 3 points needed on Tuesday.

    I don't think so

We were extremely lucky, especially first half. Still not seeing that passion, that want for it that served us so well last half of last season.

Let's not get carried away by the fact that we went down by one goal to a top team. I thought we looked weak, ineffective and clumsy at times. Neither goal from open play, but nevertheless, Cywca's was a cracker. We do have the talent but we still seem muted.

    Agreed

Great effort in the second half against a top side. Brilliant goal and a few other chances created too. Dodgy defence needs sorting though. Still think we'll be OK as the season goes on.

My afternoon however was spoilt by complete and utter tools who delight in being right when predicting that we'll concede and lose. If we can keep Hemmsie off here can't we get rid of these buffoons? They spoil the forum on match days.

    I agree

Even when one of lads scores from 35 yards, he's still subjected to criticism!:D
Just thought you'd like to know, mate, made the first of two trips to Cumbria Uni today, taking Laura's clothes, bed linen, crockery, cutlery, books, etc.. Tomorrow we're taking up her numerous pieces of electronic equipment, medication and Laura herself.

If she's like a normal young lady where clothes are concerned I'm surprised you could get them all there in one journey. Unless you hired an artic. But best of luck to her as she starts another phase in her life. All the best Laura x

    It's a lovely place, mate

Hopefully, she'll settle down quickly and begin to enjoy her new life there.

I've got a female friend who's 19 (I know, I know!) and starting at Northampton on Monday to do paramedic science. She's so excited and so looking forward to it. It's a major milestone in all young people's lives and I sincerely hope it works out for both of them.

    Me too

I'd never even heard the word 'Forensic' when I was Laura's age. Truth be told, I'd not heard the word 'Science', either!:D

Mike also pulled off a number of really good saves. Like you say losing by one flattered us when it could have been worse than Wigan.
