Probably......and thats what got him the sack That is to say; he was too friendly towards the players When you look at the effort last season compared to this, I just hope the players that did take their foot off the peddle; rue the day that they allowed Flicka to get the sack David Flitcroft is too nice a fella to be a football manager
I met him twice, first time he was nice, second time not so much, so it's a bit hard to tell, on balance I would say he's not too nice to be a football manager.
Once. Face to face. But I heard him on the radio plenty of times ..........but I never met or even heard Job speak
JOB has nothing to be ashamed of IMO, he made a mistake but you can't question his effort, work-rate or commitment.
I don't think some of the local reporters were too keen on him but that might have been to do with his closeness to Hill . Don't think Bobby Hassell was over keen either but its just a feeling I've got .
Hahahahahah !!!!!!! I'm referring to the man Job (pronounced Jobe) in the Bible..........i.e. the guy who maintained a good character even tho bad things happened to him That is to say..........you don't necessarily have to meet someone to realise they are of good character
The Barnsley Player team were quite unfriendly when I met them and spoke to them at an away game. However a local professional photographer from Poggy was a really nice bloke. And Flicker was chatty, friendly and likeable on the 3 occasions I've met him pitchside.
