lancashire lad <div class="CommentBody" id="CommentBody_244342">I've just got home from the match and must have watched a different match to Thommo. Charlton were rubbish, with the exception of the 2 youngsters & Sodje the rest were not fit to wear a Charlton shirt. None of the forwards seemed to have any co-ordination or communication between them, Halford is a carthorse with a long throw and neither they nor the management on the side seem to really care. If that is what we have for next season we shall be fighting relegation. Congratulations to the 425 Addicted who turned up and out sung Barnsley Cambell Rice was deservedly MoM </div><div class="CommentBody">http://www.charltonlife.com/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=16243&page=1#Item_0</div>
I guess it sounds a lot different stood with them....didn't hear owt from them mesen. And I didn't think they played too bad, they were giving it a go and not just going through the motions but we were the team that wanted it, which can often be the case in games like that.
Well he was fairly close with most of his comments Apart from the one about the singing. I didnt hear any noise from the North Stand at all and I sit just north of the half way line. Charlton were rubbish though and their forwards made ours look good
Thought that they were the quietest away supporters we had all season - still they had nothing to cheer about to be honest. it is easy to see why our away support gets such a good reaction from the home fans as we certainly make quite a lot of noise for most of the match
The comment about Halford I thought he look decent but a bit like Paul Hayes all skill in the world but does nothing with it.
