Does anyone who went to the game, say that Tommy Wright really did play well, its just that I find it difficult to believe after all I've seen of him,I hate to see young(to me)lads failing, but to me he's been little more than hopeless.
yes, he really did play well.
the best i have seen him play by a long way.
he won every ball, wasnt afraid to get stuck in and held the ball up well.
if people were prepared to give him a chance and judge him after he as had a good run in the team they would that he really is a good player.

You're dubious? Oh aye. We know. Sir Thomas of Wright did okay. He's good at pretending the centre half has "come through the back of him" - if you know what I mean. The chance on his left peg that got pushed round the post was a good move. He still looks like he's just been let out of the asylum for the day. Dirk wants to have his babies.
RE: You're dubious? I still think he's Brendan O'Connell without the pace...and hair. Runs his guts out though so he's always gonna be a managers favourite.
yes wright did play well, best performance from 1 of our strikers in a while. gave 110% even tho he was against 2 gaints and was hammerd all night and he still won most of the ball and gave em stick back unlike hayes hu gets bullied about. yes i was hard to beleive on the night too but he gave us a different option upfront instead of hayes.only thing missing is a goal, but thats same old story
