    ...that Clint Marcelle is the shortest player ever to play in the premiership?

    Actually he's the joint shortest player along with Danny Wallace, Alan Wright and a couple more, but still...interesting fact isn't it!

    ...tall is he then? I thought Mark Stein and Shaun Wright Phillips both come in at 5ft3, Clint was never that small surely?

    1.63m apparently, which i've just converted to being 5'4".

    Mark Stein and Shaun Wright-Phillips are both 5'6" according to soccerbase.

    The lass who sits opposite me is 5'8" and recently met SWP, and she reckons she "towered above him", so he may have been telling porkies when he gave his height to soccerbase.

    Anyway, surely Bobby Collins must be the shortest footballer ever. He only came up to the shoulders of a hobbit.

    Hey, isn't this more fun than moaning about the lack of signings...
