Didn't realise Brian Howard was playing in the conference

Barring Reading, his career's took a nose dive since leaving us.

 

Thought he was bigger than little old Barnsley, which went well.

 

Since the 2007-08 season, Liverpool and Chelsea and all that and 14 goals, he's scored a grands total of 6 goals. 7 years, 10 clubs, 6 goals. Go get 'em Bri.

 

And there'll still be pillocks who think he could do a job for us.

of note he was offered a 12 month deal by the club at the start of the season.

 

We certainly got the best out of him.

 

So many players have left us thinking they are the bee's knees and come down with a massive bump.

 

Great little player for us. Legend? Possibly. In fact, yes. Legend.

Career's gone downhill ever since, but what a career he had with us.

Howard, McIndoe, Campbell-Ryce, Bogdanovic, Colace... A lot in that era thought grass was greener on the other side

 

Even some of the ones who didn't play for us. Remember Keighan Parker?

 

I can't lump Howard in with the likes of Bogdanovic and McIndoe. And I remember most of us being pleased when we got shut of JCR. He was a busted flush by then, but he too gave me some great memories, just like Howard.
