I didnt either they were poot though never looked like scoring even when we had ten men

 

Weren't they right up there last season as well?

 

Ponty and I were saying the same during the game. I never felt like they were capable of putting us under any serious pressure.

 

Finished third but led for about half the season.

 

I was surprised, I rarely look at the table though.

I had them down as league winners this year after coming close last year & signing Henderson & Mcanuff

The worst team to come to Oakwell since Gillingham. Never looked like scoring against a Barnsley team who have looked shot of all confidence in recent weeks. We controlled the game but like the Gillingham game, it was more because they were so poor rather than us being world beaters.

 

I didn't realise Leyton was twinned with Florence. Or you'd think so when they were singing the "I wanna go home..." song. I tend to get offended when it gets sung at us anyway, but having been to Leyton...
