REDS duo Paul Reid and Antony Kay are struggling ahead of a big week for the side after picking up injuries against Swansea City.

Paul was left with stitches in his forehead and Antony has been receiving treatment for an ankle problem after separate clashes with former Barnsley striker Rory Fallon.
    as well as Paul Reid.

    From Official Site:

Reds boss Andy Ritchie told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk: "Antony's foot and ankle are a little sore. He was caught by Fallon on Saturday and he brought his foot down the back of his ankle and onto his foot. It left him in a bit of pain.

"Paul also clashed with Fallon in the first half and was left needing stitches. We will have to wait and see how they go through the week but both should be fit for Brentford".

At least Howard will be back for Brentford.

Good news about Bobby Hassel l as well

    Also from Official site:

BARNSLEY boss Andy Ritchie has received a big boost today with the news that influential defender Bobby Hassell could be fit to play well before the end of the month.

Bobby was carried out of last week's draw at Bournemouth with suspected broken ribs but x-rays have shown no fractures and he is slowly working his way back to fitness.

Andy told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk: "Luckily it does not seem as though Bobby has broken any ribs. He is now having treatment and easing his way in.

"Bobby has been able to do some work in the pool today and we are lucky that the injury is nowhere near as bad as we feared. He should only be out for a couple of weeks".
