Asked him and he said it was possible.

Very well spoken young man. Wouldn't want get on the wrong side of him.

Called the disagreements with Wigan on Saturday nothing more than hand bags.

Hope he extends, even though he only has one goal I think he's looked alright, links up well with Hammill and Watkins

I wouldn't have thought so Spider.
Can't see Newcastle wanting to let him go.

Send the lazy overrated no ball control diver back ASAP. Anyone can score in an open goal. Apart from that he has made no impact whatsoever. With the exception of Waring all the prem loanees have been dreadful since relegation.

Toney is a better player than Waring

    Got to agree nothing special

1 good game on a loan spell isn't enough to warrant an extension

Can't see Newcastle being too bothered. Not sure if he's good enough for us..

Toney has played well in my eyes. Link up play is good and brings others into the game. Exactly what i was hoping Smith would do, but he's been useless. I'd definitely be looking to sign him up for longer as I think he's exactly what we need and will only get better with a bit of time.

We've tried him but I wouldn't be too bothered if we don't extend his loan.

He's done well for someone who's not match fit yet, not played many first team games in the past six months and won't be used to league one football. I'd take him for a second month and see if he scores a few more and gets even sharper (as you'd expect with more games under his belt). It will be useful having him around for the busy festive period and then we can say no ta in Jan if things don't work out.

I like the fella he has chutzpah. Given the awful performances of Wilkinson and Smith seems a better short term bet to me.
